Forbes 30 Under 30: Food & Wine

Picking the Forbes 30 mover-and-shakers under 30  in the food and wine industry wasn’t easy, but I was fortunate to have the closest thing this field has to a Dream Team. First, the impresario: Lee Schrager, who runs the South Beach and New York Wine & Food festivals (and also is a top executive at Southern Wine and Spirits, a dominant national wholesaler). Then, the restaurateur: Danny Meyer, who owns many of country’s finest restaurants (Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, etc.), and whose Shake Shack chain has become a juggernaut. And finally, the chef: the great Daniel Boulud, with a constellation of  Michelin stars. Read More
